This animation has been created with Adobe After Effects CS5.5 and was inspired by a scene of an american horror movie called "The crazies". In the movie the camera starts from the body of a man shot down in a baseball stadium and then zooms out beginning from the game field, and then showing the stadium, the city and finally the whole state. I followed a smart tutorial found on YouTube but I decided to do the opposite. In my animation the camera comes down from a very high point in the sky and gets closer to the city. It reminds me of a sort of military satellite spying someone from far above... The images you see come from Google Hearth, but many have been retouched to look more similar to the reality. The trick was to have a resolution bigger than the screen, so I could move them across the screen without the need of zooming and loosing quality.
